Casey Bailey is a writer, performer and educator from Nechells, Birmingham. Growing up in Nechells, a place that he is proud to call his home town, Bailey witnessed large scale deprivation and struggle; for that reason, he sees everything that he does as an act of resistance, against inequality, disparity and injustice.
